Ultrasonic Cavitation

Ultrasonic cavitation, also known as ultrasonic lipolysis or melting, is a non-surgical procedure that uses ultrasound technology to break down . The procedure involves applying pressure to fat cells through ultrasonic vibrations, which causes the cells to break down into a liquid form that the body can then get rid of through urine.

How Does Ultrasonic Cavitation Work?

Ultrasonic cavitation is a non-surgical procedure that uses ultrasonic waves to apply pressure and subsequently dissolve fat cells for easier removal. Ultrasonic waves are applied with pressure on the target area, which creates bubbles around the fat deposit. When these bubbles break from too much pressure, the fat deposits also break apart and spill into the lymphatic system for draining.

How Fast Does Ultrasonic Cavitation Work?

sessions are typically 45 to 75 minutes long and are usually performed two times a week for one to two months. While some say you may see results after the first session, most recommend 8 to 12 sessions for optimal results. The exact number of sessions needed depends on factors like age, weight, and the area being treated.

How Long Does Ultrasonic Cavitation Last?

Ultrasonic cavitation results can be permanent if you maintain a healthy lifestyle. The treatment destroys fat cells through vibration, and results are usually noticeable after the first treatment. The results can be long-lasting, many years to a lifetime, if your weight is stable.

What is the Aftercare for Ultrasonic Cavitation?

Control Diet
Overall maintaining a low calorie, low carbohydrate, low fat, and low sugar diet for 24 hours pre-treatment and three days post-treatment will help achieve the best results. This is to ensure your body utilizes triglycerides (a type of body fat) released by the cavitation process.
Avoid Extreme Temperatures
Avoid extreme hot temperature exposure for at least 48 hours post-procedure. No saunas, steam rooms, Jacuzzis, or anything else that is hot or drying to the skin post-procedure. Avoid extreme cold temperatures for at least 48 hours.
Stay Hydrated
Drink at least 1 liter of water immediately after your appointment and 2 liters per day after. Avoid soft drinks, juice, tea, and alcohol for 2–3 days after treatment.
